Pasta with sage and cheese sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g pasta (e.g. spaghetti, linguine or tagliatelle)
  • 1 handful of sage
  • 250 ml cream
  • 50 g Parmesan, freshly grated
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  • nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • possibly lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, gently fry the sage leaves in butter, add the cream, and let it simmer briefly. Reduce the heat, stir in the Parmesan, and stir until the cheese is completely melted. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Add a little more lemon juice, if desired, but do not allow to boil further.
