Pastries: Beetroot Brownies

- 200 g Cooked beetroot
- 125 g Oat flakes, ground
- 1 Glass Kidney beans, 240 g drained weight
- 150 ml Maple syrup
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Cardamom
- 2 tbsp Liquid coconut oil
- 2 tbsp Crushed flax seeds
- 5 tbsp Cocoa powder
- 2 tsp Tartar baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 75 g Finely chopped dark chocolate
- Puree the drained kidney beans with the beetroot. Process with all other ingredients in the food processor to a smooth dough, fill into a greased dish (approx. 20 x 20 cm) and smooth out.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 35 minutes.
- Then, if you like, sprinkle with additional grated chocolate or cover with a chocolate glaze.
