Penne with smoked salmon and thyme

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300g penne
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 200 ml cooking cream or panna cucina
  • 1 bunch of thyme
  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • n. B. Salt and pepper, mixed, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the salmon into strips or bite-sized pieces and set aside. Wash and pluck the thyme, and set aside. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the panna cucina or cream, and heat gently. Add half of the thyme and about a third of the smoked salmon. Season with salt and pepper. Keep warm on the lowest heat. Cook the penne until al dente, drain, and toss with the sauce. Serve immediately. Divide the remaining salmon and thyme among the prepared portions. Enjoy!
