Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 ½ cup(s) basmati rice e.g. B. Tilda
- 3 cups water
- 1 tsp, leveled salt
- 1 piece(s) butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 3 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 48 minutes
without potatoes, with crust
Combine all ingredients in a non-stick (important) saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 45 minutes until golden brown. Turn out onto a plate and serve. This dish goes well with lamb and poultry dishes with sauce, such as curries.
