Ingredients

  • 200 g Flour
  • 1,5 tsp Baking powder
  • 15 g Sugar
  • 60 g Butter
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 0,5 Egg yolk
  • 0,5 tbsp Milk

Instructions

  • Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and a pinch of salt. Add the butter or Sanella in pieces and mix quickly to a crumbly dough. Add the milk and knead into a smooth dough. But don't knead too long, otherwise the minis will be too "tough".

Preheat the oven (convection) to 200 °.

  • Flour the work surface and roll out the dough about 2cm thick. Cut out circles (4.5cm). If possible, do not turn the cookie cutter, otherwise the minis will be crooked. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Mix together the milk and egg yolks and brush the minis with it.
  • Turn the oven down to about 180 °, put some water in the oven, I pour the water onto the hot drip pan in the oven and bake for about 12-14 minutes until golden brown. Shouldn't burn. Let cool on wire rack or similar.
  • Now there are no limits to the imagination. Cover with jam, nut nougat, cream cheese, sausage, etc ......... and enjoy.
