- 1 Cucumber
- 1 Onion
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Yellow mustard seeds
- 3 tablespoon Wine vinegar
- 1 bunch Fresh dill
- 3 leaves Borage fresh
- 0,5 teaspoon Pink berries
- Wash the cucumber, peel and cut into not too thin slices; Halve the onion and then cut into small slices: pluck the dill flags from the twigs, remove the thick middle rib from the borage, chop both very finely.
- Put the cucumber, onions and all other ingredients in a large jar with a lid and shake vigorously. It is best to let it steep in the refrigerator overnight, shaking it from time to time.
- These cucumbers taste particularly good with fried potatoes, but are also great on a buffet when grilling.
