Poppy seed pockets with poppy seed filling on berry pulp

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g poppy seeds (Waldviertel grey poppy seeds), grated
  • ⅛ liter milk
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • Vanilla sugar, cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 50 g raisins
  • Strudel leaves
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Berries (wild berry mix)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Combine all ingredients for the filling. Cut the strudel dough sheets into squares, fill with a heaped tablespoon of the filling, twist the pockets together, brush with egg, and bake for about 10 minutes at 180°C. Then serve on hot wild berries sprinkled with sugar.
