Pork cheeks made easy

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 600 g pork cheeks, pre-order from the butcher
  • 600 g onion(s)
  • 750 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

In the pressure cooker

Heat the oil in a pressure cooker and brown the pork cheeks on all sides. Roughly chop the onions. Remove the cheeks and set aside. Add the onions to the pot and sauté. Place the cheeks on top of the onions and top with the broth. Add the bay leaves. Close the lid and cook for about 50 minutes. Serve the onion broth as a sauce.
