Potato-carrot mash

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 bunch of carrots
  • 3 large potatoes
  • 1 cube of beef broth
  • Parsley
  • 1 onion(s)
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

A recipe from my grandma. Very delicious.

Peel the onions, potatoes, and carrots and dice them into small cubes. Fry the onions in a pan until golden brown. Then add the carrots and sauté lightly. Now add the potatoes and a little water (about a quarter of the pot). If you add too much water, the porridge will end up too thin. Add the beef stock cube and dissolve it. Cover and simmer gently until cooked through. This takes about 10-15 minutes, depending on the quantity. Season with parsley and puree using a hand blender. This tastes great with meatballs in dark sauce or eggs.
