Potato dumpling pan with feta

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 8 potato dumplings
  • 10 cocktail tomatoes
  • 1 pack of feta cheese
  • ½ ring/s of meat sausage
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tbsp lard for frying, or frying fat of your choice
  • pepper
  • possibly herbs, fresh, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Slice the potato dumplings and fry them in lard (or butter or margarine). Halve the tomatoes and dice the sausage. Add both and fry until browned. Crumble the feta cheese over the dumplings and let it melt with the lid closed. Add the rosemary and stir briefly. Season with pepper or serve with fresh herbs, if desired. Tip: Leftovers from the day before or ready-made versions from the refrigerated section work well for the dumplings. If using fresh dumplings, be sure to let them cool down first so they don’t fall apart during frying.
