Potato gratin with sage

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g potatoes
  • 3 onions
  • 100 ml cream
  • 50 g Parmesan
  • 1 tbsp vegetable broth
  • ½ bunch fresh sage
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Vegetarian

Slice the unpeeled potatoes and cook in salted water. Meanwhile, peel and slice the onions. Pluck the sage and fry it in a pan with the onions and a teaspoon of vegetable stock until translucent. Add the cooked potatoes and toss everything in a casserole dish. Now add the cream and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Bake in the oven at 200°C (400°F) until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
