Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pkt. Puff pastry, fresh, from the refrigerated section
  • ½ jar sour cherries
  • 100 g marzipan
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with cherries and marzipan

Cut the puff pastry into squares. Place a piece of marzipan (about the size of a marzipan potato) shaped like a disc on each square. Then add 5 well-drained sour cherries. Then, pinch the corners together and seal all openings. Bake the puff pastry parcels in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for 20 minutes, until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while still warm and serve. Makes about 8 parcels.
