Pumpkin-apple jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g Hokkaido pumpkin(s)
  • 500 g apples
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • ½ orange(s), juice, alternatively some orange juice
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 37 minutes

Peel and chop the pumpkin. Sauté the pieces in a little water for about 10 minutes, then drain the water. Add the juice of one lemon and half an orange. Blend everything. Peel and dice the apples. Add the diced apples to the pumpkin puree and blend. Add the gelling sugar and bring everything to a boil according to the instructions. Let the jam cool briefly and then pour into jars.
