Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pumpkin(s)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 250 ml sour cream
  • ½ tbsp flour
  • some caraway
  • some pepper
  • some dill, fresh, plucked
  • some water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the pumpkin and cut it into noodles. Season with some of the salt and let stand. Peel and finely chop the onions and sauté them in butter. Squeeze the pumpkin well and add it to the onions. Stir in the tomato puree and season with salt, pepper, caraway, and dill. Mix the sour cream with a little water and the flour until smooth and add to the pumpkin. Simmer over low heat until soft. Since the pumpkin contains a lot of water, add more seasoning if necessary.
