simple, fast and inexpensive
Preheat the oven to 200°C fan/convection oven. Roll out the puff pastry and the baking paper on a baking sheet. In a bowl, combine the sour cream, crème fraîche, and ajvar. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Spread the puff pastry generously with the sour cream, crème fraîche, and ajvar mixture. Dice the bell pepper and spread it evenly on the puff pastry with the corn and ham. Cut the spring onions into rolls and sprinkle over the top. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the tarte flambée for about 15-20 minutes, until the puff pastry is golden brown and crispy. Cut the tarte flambée into pieces and serve. Note: This “spicy tarte flambée” is a delicious snack or meal. The puff pastry becomes crispy, and the spicy ajvar and sour cream mixture gives the tarte flambée a special flavor. Fresh bell peppers, corn, savory ham, and aromatic spring onion rolls create a delicious combination of flavor and texture. Enjoy this tarte flambée as finger food at parties or as a main course with a salad.
