Quick asparagus tarte flambée with pesto

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 package of tarte flambée dough from the refrigerated section
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 3 tsp cream
  • 100 g asparagus, white
  • 100 g asparagus, green
  • 5 tsp basil pesto, homemade
  • 1 onion(s), possibly red

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Peel the white asparagus, peel the green asparagus a little too if necessary, and steam for about 7 minutes. Roll out the dough. Mix the sour cream with the cream and spread on the dough. Cut the onion into very thin slices and also spread on the dough. Place the pesto on top in small piles. Cut the asparagus diagonally into pieces about 5 cm long and also place on the dough. Season with pepper and salt. Bake in the oven at 220 °C (top/bottom heat) on the lowest shelf until the tarte flambée takes on a light brown color. Please note that if you have big eaters, this quantity is just enough for 2 people. Adjust if more people are eating.
