Quick sage balsamic sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil (olive oil or sunflower oil)
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 4 tbsp balsamic cream
  • 3 leaves of sage, fresh
  • Salt
  • Black pepper, freshly ground
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Chop the onion and sage leaves as finely as possible. Pour the oil into a pan and heat it. Sauté the onions until translucent. Then add the sage and continue to fry in the oil, stirring constantly, until the onions are lightly browned. Add sour cream, balsamic vinegar, and water, if desired. Season with salt and pepper. Tip: This recipe is easily adapted by using other herbs such as coriander, rosemary, thyme, and, of course, various spices such as turmeric, curry, cinnamon, ground cloves, paprika, allspice, and all kinds of other spice blends.
