Quick spaghetti

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g spaghetti, made from durum wheat semolina
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 small can of tomatoes, peeled
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ pack of Italian herbs, frozen
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 8 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 16 minutes

The sauce is guaranteed to be ready in the 8 minutes cooking time of the spaghetti

Bring a large pot of hot water and at least 1 tablespoon of salt to a boil, add the spaghetti, and cook uncovered. Heat the olive oil in a small pot. Peel and dice the onions and sauté them in the oil until translucent. Open the can of tomatoes and roughly chop the tomatoes inside the can with a knife, then add them to the onions. Add the balsamic vinegar and herbs, season with salt, and pepper. Drain the spaghetti and fold in a tablespoon of butter. Transfer to two plates and pour the sauce over the spaghetti.
