Quince and Honey Mousse with Thermomix

Ingredients
 

  • 500 g Peeled and diced quince
  • 80 g Honey

Instructions
 

  • Fill 200 ml of water into the mixing bowl. Put the quince pieces in the cooking basket and hang up. Simmer at 100 degrees for about 30 minutes on level Then pour off the water from the mixing bowl and add the cooked quinces. Add the honey and puree for a few seconds on level 10. Fill into glasses while still hot and close. Store in the refrigerator.
  • Optionally, you can stir in a little cinnamon, lavender, vanilla or other spices.
  • The purée is not as sweet as quince jelly or jam and does not contain as much sugar. It tastes delicious with yoghurt or for desserts, but also goes well with cheese.
