Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g potatoes
- 2 onions
- 150 g wild garlic
- 1 egg(s)
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- Oil or fat for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Peel, wash, and grate the potatoes. Finely dice the onions. Wash the wild garlic leaves and cut them into small, short strips. Combine everything in a bowl, add the egg, and mix until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg. Using a tablespoon, place portions of the mixture into a pan (careful, it splatters!), flatten, and fry in oil or fat. Turn once to crisp up both sides. Tastes great with applesauce or mustard.
