  • 400 g Minced meat
  • 1 Chopped onion
  • 1 Paprika
  • 150 ml Broth

  • Gravy
  • Parsley
  1. Remove the outer withered leaves from the red cabbage. Then cut the red cabbage into slices about 2 cm thick. Then place the slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  2. For the marinade, chop the garlic, squeeze the lemon and mix with olive oil. Brush the red cabbage slices with it and season with salt and pepper. Now put it in the oven at 180 ° C for 45 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, peel the potatoes and cook them in salted water. Chop the onions and cut the peppers into cubes.
  4. Now briefly fry the minced meat in a little oil. Then add the chopped onions, diced paprika and stock. Heat everything together.
  5. When the potatoes are cooked, drain the water. Then add milk, grated nutmeg and butter and mash into a creamy puree. Then a little puree is spread on each red cabbage slice. Then put some of the fried minced meat on top. Finally, sprinkle cheese over it and place it in the oven again for 10 minutes so that the cheese can melt.
  6. If you like to cook a gravy in the meantime, I had enough left over from the seared minced meat.
  7. Arrange the baked red cabbage on plates, pour some sauce over it and sprinkle with chopped parsley and enjoy. Even the crispy crust of the red cabbage was delicious.
