Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 0.06 liters of milk
  • 250 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 50 g butter
  • 6 egg whites
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 300 g currants

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

For 12 pieces

Cream together the butter, egg yolks, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, water, and milk until fluffy. Stir in the flour mixed with the baking powder. Spread onto a baking sheet and bake at 160°C for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff peaks form and fold in the currants. Spread the mixture onto the cake and bake for another 15 minutes.
