Rice with shrimp, mushroom and Gorgonzola sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 10 shrimps (party shrimps)
  • 6 mushrooms
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 20 g butter
  • 20 ml olive oil
  • 100 ml cream
  • 100g Gorgonzola
  • 100 g rice (parboiled rice), from the bag
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

If necessary, remove the shell at the end of the party prawns and place them on kitchen paper. Dice the onion into small cubes. Finely slice the garlic cloves. Clean the mushrooms, remove the stems, and slice the caps. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the bag of rice. Follow the rice cooking time on the package. Heat the olive oil and butter in a pan. Sauté the onion and garlic, then add the mushrooms and sauté. Reduce the heat and add the cream and prawns, along with salt and pepper. About 3 minutes before the rice is ready, add the Gorgonzola to the pan. Stir until the Gorgonzola has melted. Finally, add the rice to the pan and mix everything together.
