Ingredients for 4 servings:
- Butter or olive oil
- 1 onion(s), finely chopped
- 1 cup rice, long grain rice
- 1 cup white wine
- 1 cup water
- 2 carrots, finely diced
- 2 leeks, cut into thin rings
- 1 small kale, finely chopped
- ½ small celery, finely diced
- 1 bunch of parsley
- e.g. fish, chicken or sausages
- Chili (Piri-Piri)
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Rice with vegetables
Sauté finely chopped onions in fat in a pan over medium heat until translucent. Add rice and sauté, then deglaze with white wine and water. Add carrots and vegetables and bring to a boil briefly. Cut fish, chicken, or sausage into bite-sized pieces, add, and simmer for another 10-15 minutes. Season with piri-piri sauce and garnish with parsley when serving.
