Roast Pork

The perfect roast pork recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1000 g Pork neck
  • 200 g Onion
  • 30 g Garlic
  • 600 ml Water
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oil for frying
  1. Rub the pork neck with salt and pepper and fry brown all over in a saucepan with hot oil over high heat.
  2. Chop the onions and garlic, add to the meat and fry for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in the water (enough so that the roast is about halfway in the water) and season with a little salt and pepper.
  4. Leave everything covered over low to medium heat for 90-120 minutes (depending on the size or thickness of the roast). Turn the roast every now and then and, if necessary, add a little water if it is not enough.
  5. Remove the meat and cut into slices (against the grain). Season the sauce again and, if you want, bring it to the boil again and bind something.
