Roast Pork
The perfect roast pork recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1000 g Pork neck
- 200 g Onion
- 30 g Garlic
- 600 ml Water
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oil for frying
- Rub the pork neck with salt and pepper and fry brown all over in a saucepan with hot oil over high heat.
- Chop the onions and garlic, add to the meat and fry for 5 minutes.
- Pour in the water (enough so that the roast is about halfway in the water) and season with a little salt and pepper.
- Leave everything covered over low to medium heat for 90-120 minutes (depending on the size or thickness of the roast). Turn the roast every now and then and, if necessary, add a little water if it is not enough.
- Remove the meat and cut into slices (against the grain). Season the sauce again and, if you want, bring it to the boil again and bind something.
