Roasted Maultaschen with Grilled Tomatoes and Cheese

The perfect roasted maultaschen with grilled tomatoes and cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 piece Maultaschen Swabian
  • 3 piece Smaller tomatoes
  • 1 piece Spring onion
  • Clarified butter
  • Salt, pepper from the mill
  1. Actually, I didn’t want to put in such a simple recipe, but since I don’t see the “new cookable bar” yet, I practice with this simple but very tasty leftover use:
  2. First the tomatoes are quartered and in the hot pan – without fat! – Roasted on the cut surfaces so that the tomato aroma comes out better through the roasted substances. Remove the tomatoes from the pan and set aside.
  3. Now the dumplings are cut into strips and fried in hot clarified butter, also add the spring onions in rolls and fry them with them. Then season with salt and pepper and add the tomatoes again. Sprinkle the grated cheese – amount to taste – over it, put the lid on the pan and let it melt.
  4. In the meantime I cleaned and washed a green salad and there was a yogurt and sour cream sauce with basil, salt, pepper, vinegar and garlic oil.
