Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 600 g nuts, mixed
- 100 g sugar
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp water
- 3 tsp Italian seasoning mix
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Preheat the oven to 150°C (fan). Beat the egg whites with 1 teaspoon of water until frothy and stir in the nuts. Combine the spices and pour over the nuts. Mix well. Place the spiced nuts on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and roast for 20 minutes. Turn them over after 10 minutes. Then let the nuts dry on the sheet.
