Sage Schnapps

The perfect sage schnapps recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 liter Wheat grain 32%
  • 250 g White rock sugar
  • 1 bunch Sage fresh
  1. Wash out the container with hot water, pluck the sage leaves from the stems and wash them off, crush the rock sugar a little.
  2. First put the rock candy, then the sage leaves and finally the grain in the vessel. Then store the whole thing for 6 weeks in a dark and cool place. Then the mixture is filtered and poured into suitable bottles and e.g. given away, or is also suitable for healing / alleviating purposes (gargle for sore throats) 🙂
  3. Warning: alcohol only for adults and in moderation 🙂
