Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 salmon fillet(s) (salmon side)
  • 80 g butter
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup(s) lemon juice
  • 2 handfuls of almonds, sliced

how I like it

Treat one side of salmon (size as desired) using the 3-S method (clean, acidify, salt) and let it rest for about 10-15 minutes. Place skin-side down on a greased baking sheet or in a roasting pan. Season with pepper, brush with warmed honey, sprinkle with flaked almonds, and top with butter flakes. Bake at 180-200°C (top/bottom heat) for 45-55 minutes, until the fish is cooked and the flaked almonds are golden brown. If the flaked almonds are overbrowning, cover with aluminum foil. Serve with dill-flaked potatoes and salad.
