Salmon fillet from the steamer

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 salmon fillets, fresh
  • 1 spring onion(s)
  • 1 red chili pepper(s)
  • some ginger, fresh
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp parsley, fresh
  • 1 tbsp marjoram, fresh
  • 1 tsp peppercorns, pink

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 14 minutes; Total time approx. 24 minutes

Wash the salmon fillets, pat dry, and place them in a perforated steamer. Trim the spring onions and chili peppers and slice them into fine rings. Spread a little butter on the fillets and arrange the spring onions and chili rings on top. Grate some fresh ginger over them. Finally, pick the parsley and marjoram leaves and arrange them on top. Season with pink pepper, if desired. Cook in the steamer’s universal program at 70°C for 14-15 minutes. Baguette goes well with this dish.
