Salmon roll with spinach

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 250 g spinach
  • 250 g cheese (e.g. Gouda, medium-aged)
  • 200 g herb cream cheese
  • 1 pack of smoked salmon
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 8 hours 45 minutes

delicious, quick and ideal for a party buffet

Mix the eggs with the spinach, then add a pinch of salt and pepper. Quickly line a baking sheet with baking paper, then pour the mixture of eggs, spinach, salt, and pepper onto it. Now add the grated Gouda or cheese of your choice and bake for 20 minutes at 180°C (top and bottom heat). Now you need some time! The mixture needs to cool. Then spread the herb cream cheese on the firm mixture. Place the smoked salmon on top of the cream cheese. Now carefully roll everything up. Wrap in cling film or aluminum foil and place in the refrigerator, even 8 hours before eating. It tastes even better. I’ve also tried heating the roll in the microwave and then serving it warm. My guests really liked it. But not everyone likes reheating spinach.
