Sausage Strudel

The perfect sausage strudel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 0,5 pack Spelled strudel dough there are always 2 in the package)
  • 250 g Grated mozzarella
  • 100 g Crème fraîche with herbs
  • 2 Pair Sausages I had turkey frankfurters
  • Parsley as desired
  • Salt and pepper from the mill to taste
  • 1 tsp Rapeseed oil
  • 1 Chopped onion
  • 1 Pc. Green peppers
  1. Fry the sausage and the chopped onion in a little rapeseed oil. Peel the paprika, remove the white and the seeds, cut into small bite-sized pieces and add to the sausages and roast them briefly.
  1. Add the crème fraîche with herbs and season with salt and pepper. Let cool down!!!
  1. Take the strudel dough out of the packaging, unfold it and distribute the really cooled mixture. Scatter cheese on top and also the chopped parsley. Roll them into a swirl.
  1. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper and place the strudel. Sprinkle with a little water. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees until golden brown.
  1. Serve with a crispy salad. ENJOY THE MEAL
