Savoy Cabbage Gratin

The perfect savoy cabbage gratin recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Short pasta
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Savoy
  • 125 ml White wine
  • 250 g Boiled ham cubes
  • 200 g Herbal cream cheese
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 200 g Grated cheese
  • 3 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil
  • Salt pepper
  • Fat for the shape
  1. Boil the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente and drain.
  2. Clean the savoy cabbage, remove the stalk and cut into fine strips. Peel the onion and chop finely.
  3. Heat some olive oil in a pan and sweat the onion cubes until translucent. Add savoy cabbage strips and diced ham and fry everything briefly. Deglaze everything with the white wine and stew for about 20 minutes.
  4. Whisk the cream cheese and milk together and season well with salt and pepper.
  5. Gently butter a large casserole dish. Mix the pasta and the savoy cabbage and ham mixture together, place in the baking dish and pour the cream cheese milk over it.
  6. Mix the breadcrumbs and grated cheese together and sprinkle evenly over the casserole (if you like, add a few more flakes of butter).
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 30 minutes.
