Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g savoy cabbage
- Water, for cooking
- Sea salt, for cooking
- 1 large onion(s)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 50 ml cream (vegan or animal)
- Salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
- 200 g chestnuts, pre-cooked
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Chestnuts bought pre-cooked
Trim, wash, and coarsely chop the savoy cabbage. Cook in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes, then drain. Dice the onion and sauté in butter. Add the drained savoy cabbage, stir in the cream, and season with spices. Halve the chestnuts, fry in the melted butter, and pour over the savoy cabbage.
