Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 12 pork schnitzels
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 kg onion(s)
  • 400 g mushrooms
  • 300 g raw ham
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 400 g sour cream
  • 500 ml whipped cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 day 1 hour 30 minutes

Wash the schnitzels, pat dry, season with salt and pepper, and coat in flour. Brown the schnitzels in oil and arrange them in a casserole dish. Peel the onions, slice them, and sauté them in oil. Trim and slice the mushrooms, and sauté them as well. Dice the ham and add it to the onions and mushrooms. Pour the mixture over the schnitzels, top with the whipped cream, and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 180°C for about 50 minutes. Serve with potato gratin, rice, or baguette. 780 kcal per serving.
