Schnitzel – simply good

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pork schnitzels
  • 300 g mushrooms
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of cheese, e.g. Gouda, Emmental, Raclette cheese
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • Paprika powder
  • possibly parsley
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Season the schnitzels with salt, pepper, and paprika. Finely chop the mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers and sauté them in a little fat. Add the garlic. Grease four sheets of aluminum foil, place the schnitzels on top, and then add the sautéed vegetables. Layer the cheese and ham on top. If desired, you can also sprinkle parsley over the top. Seal the foil tightly and bake in the oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes. Tip: This goes perfectly with mashed potatoes!
