Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg cherry tomatoes
  • some onions, cut into rings
  • some tarragon
  • 375 ml wine, white, not too dry
  • 300 ml vinegar, type nB
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp pepper, whole

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Gift from the kitchen

Fill the jars with cherry tomatoes, onion rings, and tarragon sprigs, depending on the desired intensity. (Small jars are best for “gifts from the kitchen”). Simmer the white wine, vinegar, salt, sugar, and peppercorns in a saucepan for 15 minutes, adding a little more sugar if desired, and then fill the jars. Let the mixture steep for at least 3 days.
