Shaking cucumbers as I know them

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vinegar essence
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp mustard seeds
  • dill

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 5 minutes

Peel the cucumbers and cut into thick slices. Remove the seeds, if necessary. Combine all ingredients in a tightly sealed bowl and shake well. After about 2 hours, the cucumbers will be thoroughly marinated and a good amount of liquid will have formed. They can be stored in jars in the refrigerator for a while.
