Shrimp with lobster sauce and green pepper on taglierini

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g pasta (taglierini) or other pasta
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lobster paste
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp peppercorns, green, pickled
  • 50 ml cognac
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 100 g cream
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan, optional
  • 15 shrimp(s)
  • n. B. Herbs, Italian
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the onion, peel and finely chop the garlic. Sauté both in olive oil until translucent. Add the lobster paste and tomato paste and fry briefly. Deglaze with cognac. Add the vegetable stock and cream and simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes. Heat the shrimp in the sauce for about 5 minutes. Season with Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the peppercorns over the sauce at the end. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions, drain, and serve with the sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
