Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 50 g sultanas
  • 50 g anchovies
  • 100 g white bread, grated
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 25 g pine nuts
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 250 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • Salt

If you want something different

Soak the sultanas in warm water for about 20 minutes. Halve the anchovies lengthwise and grate the bread. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Toast the breadcrumbs with the sugar and a pinch of salt in a little olive oil until golden brown. Bring the pasta water to a boil and cook until al dente. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil, add the anchovies and garlic, and sauté briefly. Add the pine nuts and sultanas and toast briefly. Mix the tomato paste with 2 tablespoons of hot water and let the sauce simmer for a little longer. Finally, drain the pasta, toss with the sauce, season with salt, and serve sprinkled with the breadcrumbs.
