Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped or squeezed
  • 2 cm ginger root, finely chopped or grated
  • some lemon zest, organic
  • 70 ml soy sauce
  • e.g. cayenne pepper or chili flakes
  • 2 tsp five-spice powder
  • optional spice(s) to taste (e.g. cumin, coriander powder)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

for crispy chicken, spare ribs, vegetables or tofu

Mix all ingredients thoroughly and let it marinate for a few minutes. I place the grilled food and the marinade in a tightly sealed container and shake everything until the food is completely coated with the marinade. Then it goes on the grill or in the oven. If desired, use leftover marinade with yogurt, mustard, mayonnaise, etc. to make a spicy dipping sauce.
