Ingredients

  • 100 g Sago
  • 1,5 l Apple juice
  • 2 Apples
  • 1 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp Orange jam
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Msp Chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Lemon zest

Instructions

  • Soak the sago in a little apple juice. Peel the apples and cut into strips on the vegetable slicer. Caramelize the powdered sugar in a saucepan and pour the apple juice over it.
  • Let it get hot on a low flame and stir with the whisk until the caramel has completely dissolved. Stir in the jam, salt, chilli, lemon zest, sago and apples and simmer on a low heat for 15-20 minutes. Stir diligently because sago likes to stick to the bottom of the pot. Do a cooking test and season to taste.
