South Styrian Traminer Soup
The perfect south styrian traminer soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 125 ml Gewürztraminer
- 1 small Cinnamon stick
- 350 ml Beef broth
- 60 ml Cream
- 15 g Ice cold butter
- Salt
- Pepper from the grinder
roasted white bread cubes
- 2 kl. slices White bread
- 1 teaspoon Butter
- Salt
- Pepper from the grinder
- Spring onion

- Cut the white bread into small cubes – melt the butter in a pan and roast the bread cubes until golden yellow – season with salt and pepper
Traminer soup
- Let the traminer simmer gently with the cinnamon stick for about 5 minutes – then take out the cinnamon stick – add the beef stock and cream – simmer again for about 5 minutes – then season with salt and pepper – finally add the ice-cold butter flakes and use the hand blender crack open
serve and decorate
- Cut some spring onion (the green part!) Into small rings for the decoration – pour the soup into the plates – add toasted bread cubes and a little spring onion on top
