Spaghetti – basil – salad

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250g spaghetti
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • basil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Tabasco or chili

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

The slightly different spaghetti

Cook the spaghetti al dente and let it cool. Finely dice the onion, finely chop the garlic, and mash it with a fork. Quarter the cherry tomatoes. Gently toss everything with the cold spaghetti and olive oil. Season to taste with balsamic vinegar, spices, and Tabasco (or chili for a spicier twist). Let it sit in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. Season and garnish with fresh chopped basil before serving.
