Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 300 g Spaghetti No. 7
- 500 g cherry tomatoes
- 200 g feta cheese
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 chili pepper(s)
- 1 handful of basil
- olive oil
- 100 ml whipped cream, optional
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add salt. Add the spaghetti and cook for about 8-10 minutes, depending on your preference. Preheat oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Place the feta cheese in the center of a roasting tin. Halve the cherry tomatoes and arrange them around the cheese in the roasting tin. Finely chop the garlic and chili and spread them over the feta. Pour a generous amount of olive oil over the tomatoes, ensuring the bottom is well coated. Season the ingredients with salt and pepper and place in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, optionally add the cream and stir in for a creamier sauce. Then bake in the oven for another 5 minutes. After a total of 15 minutes in the oven, combine the ingredients in the roasting tin to make a sauce. Stir in the cooked spaghetti. Sprinkle with the basil and serve hot.
