Spanish Tortilla
The perfect spanish tortilla recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 600 g Waxy potatoes
- 150 g Peas
- 200 g Boiled ham or meat sausage
- 6 Pc. Egg
- 80 ml Milk
- 20 ml Sunflower oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sweet paprika
- Garlic powder
- Cayenne pepper
- Peel the potatoes, boil them, let them cool and cut them into approx. 1 cm cubes. Also cut the ham into 1cm cubes.
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the potato cubes in it. Add ham and peas and fry briefly. Season everything with salt and pepper, distribute evenly in the pan and turn down the temperature.
- Beat the eggs with the milk, season with a little salt and pepper, pour evenly over the potatoes and cover and fry for about 10 minutes over low heat. If necessary, look carefully what the bottom looks like, it should be lightly tanned
- Now turn the whole thing out with the help of a large plate or something similar and slide the unroasted side back into the pan and also let it fry for 10 minutes until it is also lightly browned.
- Tortilla like a cake I cut pieces and serve.
