Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 70 g spelt rice
- 150 ml milk
- 1 banana(s)
- 1 pinch of salt
- e.g. cinnamon
- e.g. brown sugar (Xucker Bronxe)
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Bring the milk to a boil with a pinch of salt and stir in the spelt rice. Then, cover and simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes. Add the sliced banana, stir, and simmer for another 5 minutes. It can be eaten hot or cold. Sprinkle with the Xucker and cinnamon mixture before serving, and you’re done. I personally love spelt rice because it stays quite crunchy. If you don’t like that, you can also use regular risotto rice.
