Spice: Papaya-lavender-pepper

The perfect spice: papaya-lavender-pepper recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 portion Seeds from a papaya
  • 3 Pc. Lavender flowers
  1. Wash the papaya seeds and carefully remove all pulp. Spread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and dry in the sun for a few hours. I put the sheet out in the sun for a few hours over and over again for several days in a row.
  2. I dried the lavender at the same time. When both are completely dry, put in a spice grinder. Can be used as a seasoning pepper. Papaya kernels are healthy and taste hot like pepper when dried. Alternatively, you can also use the oven at a low temperature (approx. 40 degrees).
