Spicy beef salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g soup meat or beef brisket
  • 1 bunch of soup vegetables
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 onion(s), red, in rings (more if desired)
  • 2 bell peppers, mixed, diced
  • 6 gherkins, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (wine vinegar)
  • 2 tbsp oil (salad oil)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Place the beef or beef brisket in cold water along with the vegetables and the bay leaf and cook slowly. Once cooled, chop finely and mix with the onion rings, diced bell peppers, and diced gherkins to taste. Dress the salad with salt, pepper, wine vinegar, oil (optional), and mustard.
