Spicy pepper rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 350 ml water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp ajvar
  • 2 tsp peppercorns, green, pickled
  • 2 tsp pepper berries, pink, pink
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (omit if using spicy ajvar)
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds, ground
  • 450 g wheat flour, type 550
  • 100 g spelt flour, type 630
  • 1 packet of dry yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours

the dough is taken over by the BBA

Place the ingredients in the BBA baking pan in the order listed and start the dough program. When the dough is ready, form small 50g rolls with floured hands, place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, and bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes. Add a bowl of water to the oven. This will make about 17 small rolls. The rolls are delicious on their own as a small snack, as a side dish to stews, or spread with butter or lard.
